The Digital Accessibility in Everyday Communications Course is the next step in CESA 6’s Digital Accessibility series, designed to help federally funded institutions put accessibility into practice across all digital communications. As the WCAG 2.1 AA compliance deadline approaches, this self-paced course empowers educators and school teams to move beyond websites and ensure every email, document, and social media post is accessible to all users.

If you’ve completed the Digital Accessibility Foundations Course, you’ll recognize key concepts like contrast, headings, and alt text. In this course, you’ll build on that foundation and learn how to apply accessibility standards in your everyday work, making accessibility a habit, not a one-time fix. Accessibility doesn’t stop with your website. Every message you publish is an opportunity to create access. This course helps you embed accessibility into daily tasks, social media, assign shared responsibility across teams, and track progress over time so your organization can sustain inclusive practices.
