This course delves into the best practices of teaching and learning, which are grounded in theory and research. Teacher candidates will analyze, practice, and implement instructional planning that meets the individual needs of each student. Candidates will learn to create instructional plans with clear learning intentions and success criteria aligned with standards. Meaningful connections between instructional best practices, classroom application, and
course content align with the InTASC Standards, CESA 6’s Effectiveness Project - Teacher Educator Performance Standards (TPES), and RITE pedagogical assessment portfolio.
