Session 2 (PM): Review and Practice Defusing

Crisis Team Leads who attend all four 1/2 day sessions will have the added experience of seeing how to run these types of review and practice sessions in their home districts with their own teams, including the experience and materials to replicate the learning with their own teams.
Who Should Attend?
Designed for teams who have already completed the TIG/CISM training series and are seeking ongoing opportunities to practice the intervention skills taught in the series. Participants can register for one or all of the individual events. Team participation is strongly encouraged.
Outcomes
- Refresh learning on critical TIG/CISM concepts
- Scenario presentation with team time to develop a response/support plan
- Receive feedback for improvement planning
Details
- CESA 6 is committed to providing accessible, quality support for school crisis prevention and intervention teams. All Crisis Teams who have completed TIG/CISM training at CESA 6 can attend all 4 events free of charge.
- A nominal charge of $25/person will be charged for full day attendees for snacks, lunch, and beverages for each full day of attendance
- Sessions 1 & 2: February 3, 2025
- All in person events are hosted at the CESA 6 Conference Center 2300 WI HWY 44 Oshkosh, WI

Cancellations for Events
Participant Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing info@cesa6.org. Registrants who cancel at least 14 calendar days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable service or material fees. Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the event. Participants who do not attend without prior notice ("no call, no show") will be charged the full event fee.
Event Changes or Cancellations by CESA 6: CESA 6 reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly via email and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future event.
Registration Transfers: Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event start date to request a transfer.
