November 19–20 I March 16–17 I 2 Day Workshops I 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Restorative Practices focuses on building a community, growing positive relationships, resolving conflict, repairing harm and healing relationships. Restorative Practices offer an alternative to traditional punitive disciplinary actions that often lead to disproportionately punishing students from marginalized groups. Educators, leaders, and school teams are encouraged to take part in this interactive dynamic training. 

Objective

  • Understand the foundation and key aspects of how to apply the Restorative Practices continuum
  • Learn how to use Affective Statements as a communication and relationship building strategy
  • Learn how to use Restorative Questions as a tool to help youth restore relationships when harm has occurred by a youth’s behavior or actions
  • Understand, learn, and practice how to incorporate Community Circles into your classrooms and school programs
  • Plan for implementation of Restorative Practices within your school district educational setting

Cancellations for Events
Participant Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing info@cesa6.org. Registrants who cancel at least 14 calendar days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable service or material fees. Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the event. Participants who do not attend without prior notice ("no call, no show") will be charged the full event fee.

Event Changes or Cancellations by CESA 6: CESA 6 reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly via email and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future event.

Registration Transfers: Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event start date to request a transfer.
