To fulfill the educator licensure stipulation, attendance at this two-day virtual training workshop is required, along with two follow-up assignments that will be discussed at the conclusion of the training workshop.About this experience
This 2-day virtual workshop is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and information they need to integrate the requirements of American Indian Studies into lesson plans, material selections, pedagogical practices, and district curriculum. Information about the Wisconsin American Indian nations’ histories, treaty rights, sovereignty, and cultures will be presented throughout the training workshop.
The goals of the training are to share best practices, information, model programs, and resources with administrators and teachers so that they are knowledgeable about American Indian Studies in Wisconsin and are able to meet the requirements of Wisconsin Act 31.
You must have your camera on during the advertised date and time for participation and for attendance purposes. The training will NOT BE RECORDED. Additionally, participants do NOT have permission or authorization to record either via video or audio the contents of this training.

Cancellations for Events
Participant Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing info@cesa6.org. Registrants who cancel at least 14 calendar days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable service or material fees. Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the event. Participants who do not attend without prior notice ("no call, no show") will be charged the full event fee.
Event Changes or Cancellations by CESA 6: CESA 6 reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly via email and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future event.
Registration Transfers: Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event start date to request a transfer.
